Your car's full potential.
Unlocked on our dyno

What we stand for
Honest diagnostics, fair pricing, no upsells. We'd rather tell you a part doesn't need replacing than sell you one.
Why Round Rock trusts us
Our reputation wasn't built through advertising. It was built one car at a time, by technicians who explain what's actually wrong and don't push upgrades a car doesn't need.

Frequently Asked Questions
Questions we get asked most
A street tune typically takes one full day. Stage 2 builds with TCU mapping may run into a second day. Full builds or complex platforms can take longer — we'll give you a realistic timeline before you drop off.
This is the most common concern we hear, and it's a fair one. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a dealer cannot void your warranty simply because you've had an aftermarket tune — they must prove the tune directly caused the issue in question. That said, every situation is different. We'll walk you through exactly what to expect for your specific car and build before we touch anything.
An off-the-shelf flash is a pre-built map designed for an average car in average conditions. A dyno tune is built live on your specific car — accounting for your mods, your altitude, your fuel, and your goals. The difference shows up in both power numbers and long-term reliability.
A generic flash applies a pre-built map from a database — it's designed for the average car under average conditions. A dyno tune is developed and validated live on your specific car, accounting for your mods, your climate, your fuel, and your goals. Every tune we deliver is proven on our in-house dyno before you drive it. That's the difference between a number on a printout and power you can actually trust.
No. A Stage 1 street tune is written for your stock car and delivers real gains with no hardware changes required. If you're planning mods, we can discuss the best sequence so your tune and parts work together from the start.
We write tunes for 91, 93, ethanol, and race gas depending on your setup and goals. We'll discuss the best option for your car during the consultation.

The process
What happens from the first call to final pull
No surprises. Here's exactly how a dyno tuning session works at ECC Tuned ATX
Consultation
We start with a conversation — your car, your current mods, and your goals. This tells us which tune level fits and what to expect on the dyno.
Baseline dyno pull
We run your car in its current state to establish a baseline — real before numbers, not estimates. This is your starting point and shows exactly what we're working with.
Live calibration
We build and adjust your ECU (and TCU where applicable) map live on the dyno — making changes, pulling data, and refining in real time until the numbers and driveability are exactly right.
Final pulls and verification
Multiple final pulls confirm consistency and safety margins. We check knock, temps, AFR, and boost across the full RPM range before we sign off on it.
Delivery and debrief
You get your dyno sheet, and a straight debrief on what was done, what the numbers mean, and what's next if you want to push further. No jargon — just clear answers.

Custom ECU calibration
We write your tune from scratch — fuel maps, ignition timing, boost targets, throttle response — calibrated specifically for your platform and modifications.

TCU software mapping
Transmission tuning to match your engine output. Shift points, shift pressure, and torque limiters — all matched to the power your engine is making.

Live dyno validation
Your car goes on our in-house dyno during and after calibration. You see the power curve, torque numbers, and before/after comparison — not an estimate.

Data logging and analysis
We log every run, analyzing AFR, temperatures, and key engine data in real time. Adjustments are made on the fly until everything is dialed in exactly where it needs to be.
